IRD freewheels feature modern shift assist ramps, similar to Shimano's Hyperglide system.

It is generally good practice to replace the chain when you replace the freewheel.

We recommend the Sram PC58 chain for use with this freewheel.

This freewheel uses the Park FR-1 extractor, same as Shimano.
