Surly track cogs are threaded the same as a BMX freewheel (1.375 x 24 tpi right-hand threads). This means that they will fit on single-speed rear hubs, as well as BMX freewheel hubs, but this application is not recommended.

Our track cogs are designed for fixed gear applications and are compatible with most English, Italian and Japanese hubs, including the Surly New Track Hubs. The thread base is 7.4mm wide for maximum thread engagement while maintaining enough room for a track lockring to be threaded on the outside.

Machined from SCM415 Chromoly steel
Heat-treated and chrome-plated
Works with 3/32" or 1.1/8” chains
